What's the point of this if you don't publish specs?
What's the max HP increase and torque delivery?
Overall fuel consumption after modification and how fast will it go now?
What was the increase in max the governed engine speeds after modifications.
(Surely you have tried this over your van's performance when it was stock ?)
Of course how many miles on it since modifications & any service problems encountered?
Let us all know
Very curious.
Cheers Dennis

Anyway continuing the Carcacha theme, I have just obtained this 906 for the company carcacha project for the upcoming Cinco de Mayo celebraciones here in Denver.

The object apart from the "Mexican Cultura obvious" it is to try to recruit more Latino mechanics/techs.
So far the suggestions are to stay with the Mexican crumpled look but add cotton reel wheels and suspension mods to do the the jumping bean dance!

And so "manos ala la obra hermanos ".

La Carcacha Verde--Linden's $hitbox van!

note i did not do it for the power i did it not to be beholden to mb and there outrageous price quotes.and with only 90.000 for mileage told there was no more warrenty .cause of time lapse.even the techs at mb agree its a bs system and that most suffer some kind of issue between 80.000 and a 110.000 thats wallet draining if the warrenty is denied.and oh ya i was in charge of sr71,warthogs s3a and so on flight control spc.my mso so your reference to backyard mech can go were the sun dont shine amigo!

Haha Mr Gabe Athouse!! I deduce you posted this comment because either don't comprehend Spanish enough to understand the funny song about "Carcachas" OR you are devoid of a sense of humour !

Both believe me are a detriment in some situations !

Now we have several forum contributors who are experts of renown!!
For example a street racer with sooper duper stage two racing tune--wait for it Carcacha!
If you want a 906 Sprinter to run fast put bloody petrol engine in it!

Then we have yet another contributor who knows all about poor MB designed exhaust subsystems that have about a 3 to 5 HPa back pressure at best when new!!

But I hope can agree that if you don't understand (just like any language ) technical or otherwise, then you are bound to plug it up at 80,00 mile plus. If that is you don't understand the maintenance of vital parts & live data because its connected to a dirty stinking little diesel engine .
Then it gets costly !
Now also see references to "Hogwarts" as i browsed these post submissions somewhere but no Harry Potter !
Maybe he was an unmentioned boss, using his magic wand from Olivanders, so our budding expert was able to magically fix it & manage all those "luverly" expensive pieces of kit provided by us taxpayers.

Now to our newly acquired Carcacha (see attachments) it really is a reality check from yet another Sad Novel, when a backyard mechanic fixed the brakes--Or didn't!! I dunno!!
Consequently with no real braking it collided with someone innocently crossing an intersection in a car.
Some of the occupants (young kids as passengers ) were more than shaken and stirred!
A bit of food for contemplation that!

Maybe just the work of bad "Om-brays" to quote someone of quite salubrious fame !

Enjoy your weekend, (su fin de semana--disfruitalo Jaha!)
Amistades Dennis

p.s for anyone wanting magic wand to fix Sprinters this where you get it from:-'
The name of the wand shop in Harry Potter series is Ollivander's.
Ollivander's in South Side, Diagon Alley, London, is owned by the Ollivander family and run by an older family member Garrick Ollivander, known as Mr. Ollivander.
Sorry I don't have a phone number, maybe you can find it on Amazon

For me that sounds like some grease monkey level educated fool is trying to play an expert and got triggered when someone is obviously better than him.
Go back to your wrenches and people will respect you for what you do. Oil changes and tire rotations are very important and respectable function for the community.

No mate I suggest you look in the mirror, our street racing racing sooper duper contributor.
Because you might just kill someone because can't stop.

If you are trying to be an AH, take it to the Danger Zone. Running like a race car is a verbal expression, stop making bigger fool out of yourself than you already are.

Or you can take a class in the embedded programming, come back and ask for the info in a polite, civilized manner, the way educated people do
