Sliding door popping open repair

Accelerating from stop, the sling door opened and slid back so hard the upper roller assembly went past the end of the track and the door tipped out and the bottom was scraping on the rear wheel!! I buckled in the rear seat belt and held the door to keep it from rubbing the wheel and hanging way out at the top. We had 1 mile to go to the campsite. Put the door back on track and bungied to keep it from sliding back. I replaced the top front roller and the rear roller in the middle of the door. Have no idea what it would take to replace the bottom front roller (remove floor?). When replacing the rear latch I found plastic parts split apart, I assume that should fix it. I have an appointment to align the door as I could not raise the rear enough. I'll let you know if the Sprinter Store in Tualatin can do it correctly.

Parts from Freightliner were 2X at least those for Rock Auto and Mopar

These are good links for background info. HKPierce has the most thorough write-up and there's also a link to the UK fixing stuff website.

For the future, from the James Cook Friends website, one can add a barrel latch to rear sliding door frame. The moveable barrel then goes into the opposite part screwed to door. This prevents the rear of door popping open (as additional security). Probably not a good idea if use rear seat.

Note posts/comments by Westy owners Grozier and DMWaves re (a) central roller part (different for doors with and without the outside black plastic cover and hole, (b) position of door lock knob (Westy has a slightly different location), and (c) step (no followup on what needed to be removed).
