Fixed that, I have never seen anything affordable in a Sprinter... $350 to make your seat turn?? $20k for a rusty T1N with 150K+miles? Odd little cult we are in.

Do you think Bluetec will clean them up?

How about a NorCal Sprinter DIY Section? I could rendezvous at next year's OE...

Guess we have a lot of early adapters pre-hip van lovers here. But when did it really start? The roots of this phenomenon are in the 60's VW and the 70's domestics. And like these predecessors, there is always a way to get in and properly maintain on the cheap.

I bet we all remember the first time you actually noticed a Sprinter for it's practical and dream-adventure quality. I do. It was 2007 north of LaPaz on Mex 1 at Mr. Taco when a couple rolled up in a decked out T1 for tacos then south with surfboards and kayaks on top. My mind was blown with potential for fun and work. Six years later, I just had to have one...

My buddy in Marin was just pushing me to build an Instagram and/or FB page for Nor Cal Sprinter Campout 2018 (Oct 18-21)...I reckon to service this segment. Previously I've only promoted here on the forum. Thread coming on NCSC 2018 shortly.

It looks like the world is finally catching up to me. In nearly 60 years of driving, I've had but two cars, and both of those for a few months only. Why would anyone drive a car when they can drive a van?
Because it is a convertible, has tons of horsepower and/or it is in the shop.
