Default Eclipse in Dash Tom Tom back up camera etc

Troubleshooting a parasitic current draw that was draining the the starting battery, it was discovered that the Eclipse AVN 4400 GPS, radio backup camera was the culprit. Thanks to the help of some knowledgeable members, the problem was isolated. The unit is in a 2012 Roadtrek Agile. We like listening to the satellite stations and the GPS, camera. I've tried to find a direct replacement or something to fix the problem, anyone have a suggestion?

I’m uncertain, you have problem isolated but you are looking now for solution to fix it ?
I just last week had my Eclipse unit on my 2011 Roadtrek replaced with a Kenwood unit. I never noticed parasitic draw from the Eclipse, my van often sat for weeks with no significant battery drain. The rear camera was also replaced.
I had custom installation at the Electronics Shop - not cheap but I now have colour rear camera with much clearer picture and grid lines to more clearly show the space behind as I reverse.
I have Eclipse head unit, rear camera and a box of wiring available if any of that would help you.

Aggie, thanks for the reply. Ideally I'd like to keep the unit that's there if there was a way to reset things or a fix. We measured the current draw with the key off, and it was 210 ma. Then we pulled the no.10 fuse and the draw fell. I don't know what others have measured. I appreciate the offer, I'm sure your set-up would be the same as our 2012?

Steve

Aggie, what model Kenwood did you have installed? And, camera? Thanks.
