If indeed the threads are good, you could perhaps tap the bottom of the hole and put a short grub screw in as a plug as Dennis describes, sealed with JB Weld or a similar product. You will require a LONG tap... and to be sure in advance that you have the material to work with down hole. Careful photography/video can help do that, as can probing with picks and wire.
Also be certain that the plug is far enough down so that the remaining hole is deep enough for the stock hold-down bolt to be torqued and turned without bottoming out. Fluid or dirt left down the hole has broken many bolts... a shallow hole would too.
