Default Customer Survey

My dispute with Performance Motors of Mareeba is ongoing as I'm going to VCAT next but I thought I'd get some back up that says you can't just change the diff ratio with out doing other work or it will go into Limp Home Mode. . The Workshop Foreman at MB Berwick agreed completely but said he wasn't allowed to put it into writing as they hadn't seen the vehicle. He suggested I contact MB Australia. I did this but they said take it to a dealership and let them look at it. I told them the dealership said to contact them and they said they would get someone to contact me. They sent me an email that virtually said go to a dealership. I replied saying I was disappointed they couldn't make a simple statement saying you can't just change the ratio.

Next came an email asking me to fill in a survey about their help! I did! You can imagine what I said.

By the way I was a motor mechanic many, many years ago and asked the VACC if they still had a copy of my certificate. To my amazement they still had it and sent me a copy dated 1966. I thought it may add a little to my case when it comes up.

There may be something to that effect in the factory service manual? Or at least a list of causes for gear ratio implausible codes, which includes the diff ratio?
