Good question. The initial versions had a 65 mph speed limitation, but I think that got eliminated for USA/Canada models. Only the RV companies can answer this. I thought Mercedes brought out a 4500 model with higher GCVWR for the RV Industry. Is anyone knows why RV manufacturer aren’t using the Cutaway 170" sprinter 4500 12125 pounds GVWR yet.
The payload:
3500 6246dpounds
4500 7319 pounds
GVWR
3500 : 11030
4500: 12150
GCWR same for both 15250
Towing same for both too
So why????

Do they come with different differentials?
Payload capacity can be easily increased by air helper bags, timbrens or additional springs.
No tow hitch.......?? I would seriously consider dumping my 3500 rv for 1000 lbs more capacity....but the lack of two hitch baffles meIs anyone knows why RV manufacturer aren’t using the Cutaway 170" sprinter 4500 12125 pounds GVWR yet.
