A while back I disconnected the seatbelt electrical sensor while the battery was connected and I’ve been plagued with an srs light ever since. Can anyone clear it? I’m currently living in Santa Cruz but wouldn’t mind taking a trip to the Bay Area.
The *recall* wouldn't clear it (since it's in the airbag control unit, too), but telling the dealer why it's on might sweet-talk them into clearing it along the way.Have you done the computer update recall yet?
I have had the same issue for 2 years. Just haven't bothered having someone clear it. I was wondering if the recall would clear it for me and save me some time.
Watch out for this.. I was in the car with someone who had Oregon plates and an Oregon drivers license and when they peeled back the onion re where to send the ticket and where she was really living, they found out she had been living in CA for over 6 months and IMMEDIATELY, without even telling us it was about to happen, impounded her car. We were sitting there waiting for the officer and a tow truck hooks up to the vehicle with us still in it, and then the officer asks us to get out, and there goes the car... So impounded car and rolling a stop sign all in one. Fun times..No but I'm not technically required to as I've managed to dodge being an official california resident for quite some time.
I think that's just EXCELLENT!Watch out for this.. You're a criminal. There's no point in lying about it.Well I haven't been an official california resident as I've lived on and off in Colorado as well and have only been a contractor in California when I have lived here for parts of the year.
Any Independent with a Snap On Scanner can clear it.A while back I disconnected the seatbelt electrical sensor while the battery was connected and I’ve been plagued with an srs light ever since. Can anyone clear it? I’m currently living in Santa Cruz but wouldn’t mind taking a trip to the Bay Area.
