140WB SHC 2500 Cargo Schematics

I know I'm a little late to the dance with these, but I have some schematic drawings to offer to those who are interested in them. These are based on the drawings and spec sheet posted previously by JDCaples and Mike LaB (thank you!). I've got two different versions of each drawing - with and without dimensions. The ones with dimensions combine the scale and cleanliness of the German-language versions posted by JDCaples with the English language dimensions of the low-res JPG posted by Mike LaB. The clean versions are just that - same drawings without the clutter of the dimensions.

These are based on 2006 model year drawings of a 140" wheelbase high top 2500 cargo van. I assume they are applicable to all similar T1N model years, at least back to 2002, but you're on your own. They're accurate reconstructions of the drawings they're based on, but I haven't checked them with real-world measurements. If the originals were as accurate as they appear to be, these should match up with physical measurements.

I drew these in Adobe Illustrator. If anyone would like the native files, contact me through my profile and I'll email them.

Without dimensions:

With dimensions:

Nice work. Wish I had these drawings about five years ago when I was planning my conversion, but I'm sure they'll be helpful to others in the future.

Thanks, Gary

Thank you, I also used these when I was hauling freight to show my superior the cargo capacity. However, I have found neither mercedes benz/dodge or a prestigious person such as yourself offers schematics for a 2500 T1N low top. Thanks!

Hi misterbond -

If you're comfortable with Adobe Illustrator, it wouldn't be that difficult to modify my files to lower the roof. I'd be happy to email you the files if you PM me your address. I might be willing to expand my library to include other heights and wheelbases, although my own van is a 140HT.

I located a couple of low-res drawings of standard roof T1N's. I'll see if I can find time to modify my HT drawings. I'll post them here if/when I get them done.

I'd appreciate the HC dimension/drawings, as well.

Thanks in advance,

Bill

So, I tried modifying my hightop drawings using the standard roof images I found, but they pixelated so much I couldn't work with them. I'll keep looking for better images to work from. I may be able to find some good photos to use as reference. It may be awhile, but I'll do what I can.

Which struts are you asking about? The hollow ribs that the interior wall panels are attached to?
