AMP Power Step

5 Attachment(s)
I have a 2015 4x4 that I was tired of carrying steps for so I had a AMP Power Step installed. I couldn't find much info on the forum before I purchased so I'll share some pictures for other owners reference. I ordered the 2 inch extension kit so they would drop down 6 inches as opposed to 4. The step is very useful.

I have a 2016 4x4 also, one of the first upgrades were these steps. Have on both sides and work great. I have these on my work truck also. Worth the money.

I was only able to find the passenger side about 5 months ago. Can I get your driver side source. I hate not having both sides and darn they are spendy compared to my Dodge truck AMP steps. Thanks

How much clearance do you think you lose? Two inches?

About that. They're worth having. I can't really imagine not having them. I have both sides but just the passenger side would be fine.

It looks like the step is $1000-$1100, how much was installation?

I paid $1600.00 for both passengers / driver installed. I had Exclusive Outfitters in Placenticia, CA supply and install. As far as loss of clearance , really none as they retract up even with the pinck line of the bottom of truck. The tank projects further downward so no worries.

Worth every penny Amp steps are the best. This is my 4 th set on 4 trucks never had any problems.

I had Exclusive install as they also did my build out. Just didn't have the time to do it.

I paid about $1.8K for mine. Early adopter pays more. The installation was "free" as in me.

How was the installation process? Difficult? Easy?

It's not hard if you're at all mechanically inclined. we got an early version and the instructions were slightly "off" - we listed some gotchas here: http://sprintervanusa.com/2016/04/21...-into-the-van/

Things might have improved since it became an official AMP product.
