I just installed 16" wheels w/ 225/75/16 tires on my 05 3500 dually! (came w/ 15" wheels)
I purchased the rims from a seller on E-Bay ($30.00 each plus shipping).
7 tires cost just over $900.00 they are E rated Mastercraft Courser tires (Goodyear)
The van now looks like a real truck! My speedometer is not reading correctly up until 50mph, at 60 I am actual doing 65.
The rpms seem to be running at 2700 rpms instead of 3000 rpms at highway speeds (which is good)!
There is enough clearance in the wheel wells & it handles just fine. I will try & post pictures in a day or so.

Did the spare fit in the cage underneath the van as well?

Any brake issues?

Could you post some photos?

I have an '02 Freightliner 3500 140", and I'd like to change to 16" as well.

Thanks......

I have not tried to fit the spare, waiting for warmer weather. I don't think it will fit.

Any brake issues?
No problems!

Could you post some photos?
I'll try (after I wash the van)

Funny I have 15" and my speedo is 5 mph under.
Example If the Speedo shows me 45 mph I'm really doing 40 mph.

I would like to get 16" for my van too.

Let us now how you keep doing!!
