I have an '04 that was retired from FedEx. It had the T21 recall but never got a new cluster. The local dealerships proved to be worthless, so I decided to see if I can get this beast sorted out myself.
Being a retired FedEx unit, it doesn't have cruise control and has the speed limiter set to about 63 MPH. I bought a C3 computer for general diagnostics and to, hopefully, resolve its current issues. I'd like to turn on the cruise option, raise the speed limit, and do any necessary programming for the replacement cluster I purchased. Can the C3 handle all this? Is it fairly straightforward? My friend has a C3 for his 2006 CDI sedan, and he created an image file after working out all of the kinks out of it. So, I'll use that software.
Does anyone here use a C3 on their vans? I'm flying blind as I go into this. I LOVE the van, but I would love it even more if I can chase all of the bugs and gremlins out of it. I feel like I need to make some flash cards and start studying up on all the acronyms involved.
