Just replaced my fuel filter, thanks for all the info here, it went smoothly.
I replaced with a Mann WK842/23X, which appears to be the MB OEM.
The filter I removed had no markings on it.
The height of the removed fuel filter was noticeably more then the Mann filter. Was worried a bit, but then saw a Zimalta video showing the same Mann filter (with an MB # also). I installed it, and went fine. I was worried the water sensor would not fit, but it did.
Just curious as to why there are different height filters available and not just all the same as the MB OEM one.

They list the height, which varies from 129 to 100mm......
