Doing a transmission service on my 2006 Sprinter this morning.
The place where the connector mates is full of fluid. I'm replacing the little barrel part and the connector plate (kinda messed the plate up trying to take the valve body off without removing the barrel part first).
The vehicle side of the connector is full of transmission fluid still, though. Is there something I should spray in there to flush it out?
There have been a couple times the transmission would not go back into park without using the mechanical override. I've been lead to believe this barrel part leaking can cause that.
