Engine removal??

Doing an engine swap.

Is it easier to pull the trans and Install new engine and trans together?

VS

Bell housing bolts, torque conv bolts, cooler lines, dipstick etc.

I always thought it was easier to yank them together.

Pull them both together. It’s easier to get the transmission lined up properly and reattached with them out.

Even if you don't ever use it again, for $50.00 bucks this will make it easier.

Lindenengineering Dennis most always suggest to remove and install the engine/tranny together.

Consult the various engine threads here on the forum. It will be worth the time. One thing that I recall is the lifting beam/components need to be short/compact. There isn't much room above the engine.

Fortunately I have not had to pull an engine, so a big FWIW on my comments.
