I'm too lazy to search. Maybe someone can give me the Cliff Notes.
I always ass-u-me'd that the OEM rear heater was somehow tied to the front ATC panel controls. My wife decided that our aftermarket Dodge van rear seat is more comfortable than the second row Sprinter seat. When sitting back there I tell her she's living in the Wayback Machine. (Rocky and Bullwinkle anyone?) My son and I were co-driving. Anyway, as ambient temperatures increased I turned off the front heat. I forgot the rear heat switch, but dear wife soon complained from the Wayback.
So, I know that there is a coolant valve in the rear heater assembly. Is the operating temperature set, or does the valve just open when the fan is powered?
