So I have the "reheat function on my Climate Controls, and my manual states the following in relation to using it to defrost (defog) windows.
(begin copy & paste)
Air-conditioning system
1) Activate cooling with air dehumidification
(per page 100).
2) Press the "reheat" button.
The reheat function is switched on. The
indicator lamp in the switch lights up.
To switch off the reheat function, press the
"reheat" button again. The indicator lamp in
the button goes out.
(end copy & paste)
Simple enough to follow, but my question is.... what exactly is happening in "reheat" mode?
Is the air being reheated somewhere in the system (even though the A/C is on) in order to burn off humidity that you're trying to further remove? Is it that simple?
So anyone know how this actually functions?
