Drivers rear marker / turn signal staying on with the van turned off indefinitely. Anyone had this issue? It did just rain for days on end.

Check your rear light housing gaskets if they’re shot replace them.

If your light housings are wet take them indoors and sit them on a radiator for a couple of hours.
Make sure you take all the bulbs out of the holders too.

If that doesn’t work then unfortunately it sound like your front SAM unit is going down........

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks,

Sam

In the T1N, many of us have (what i'll call) a European Parking Light "feature" (it's documented in the owner's manual, so it wasn't a surprise).

IF:
we turned our parking/headlights/"P" stalk to "P"
and
turned off the engine
and
flipped the directional handle up or down...
THEN
the selected direction's tail (parking) light would illuminate and stay on.

It was to serve as a "rear outer marker" when you were parked by the side of the road at night, or in the fog.

Perhaps you're seeing something similar?

I have had MANY customers bring their trucks and vans to me for concerns like that.

It is not possible to diagnose a vehicle over the internet.

I can share, that about 99% of those types of problems, were caused by aftermarket trailer wiring.
