Fault codes

Does anyone know what these fault codes mean;
5117- permanent, valve relay
9040- intermittent
Have searched google, various other search engines cannot find anything about them?

Inspect fuse F7, wiring, or ESP [CAB) control unit (A2) fault
... all part of the ESP (electronic stability package/"controller anti-lock brakes")
... and since the ESP uses the seat-side fuse panel, "F7" could be anywhere.
(on my Sprinter, it's one of the "horizontal" ones on the lower left)

9040- intermittent

p.s. i think there have been other threads mentioning 9040, but i'm not sure.
What scanner are you using?

Maxiecu 2.0 just purchased a few days ago , now found out it wont rev above 3000 but believe its the boost regulator.
