we have a 2000 t1n sprinter 316cdi with a cabin heating problem.
There is heat only on the passenger side, the driverside vents blow cold air…

Any ideas?

I noticed that when the 2004 A/C refrigerant charge was low the NAS aka NAFTA passenger side vents were colder than the driver side. I attributed that to the charge being good enough to cool only part of the evaporator coil aka matrix.

If you have reduced flow to/thru/in your heater matrix then the coolant may be cooling off before it gets to warm all of the vents.

A slim possibility.
One time we traced a lack of heat to coolant percentage/mixture. The owner had put in straight coolant, not 50% mix. That resulted in a lack of performance in the cab heater. That was not a
