5 years and only 1 unscheduled repair.

Returned our 2014 4 cylinder 144” wb. low roof cargo that was leased in November 2013.
In 130,000km I replaced 1 set of brake pads and 1 NOX sensor.
In that time period there were 5 scheduled maintenances performed.
This vehicle was driven by my business partner who was hesitant at the time to purchase a diesel and a Mercedes.
It gave a lifetime fuel mileage of 12.5L/100km with an average speed of 34km/h.
It is a service vehicle and is driven in heavy city traffic its whole life.
His replacement is a 2018 6 cylinder 144” wb. low roof cargo.
If the 4 cylinder was still available it would have been the first choice.

Last year the check engine light illuminated and the 10 start warning came up on screen.
I called the dealer and was told to drop off the vehicle. We dropped off the vehicle that afternoon were given a loaner. The next afternoon the vehicle was ready. I was told that the NOX sensor was replaced and they performed a regen.
Everything was covered under warranty.

We leased all of our Sprinters with the extended limited warranty.
I’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

So far my 2016 has been trouble free.

138 000 km on our 2015 4x4 (6 cyl.). Same here: only repairs are rear brake pads and one NOx sensor.
