I recently purchased a 2012 170" High Roof from a lease company, and during my research before buying it, I found a link that let me run the VIN number to see what the factory build was. I did that here. https://carinfo.kiev.ua/cars/vin/mercedes/vin_check
I noticed that it shows a "HH2 ELECTRICALLY POWERED HOT-AIR AUXILIARY HEATER" is on the list of the items included in the build. However, I can't seem to verify if the van actually has this or not. I do not have any controls on the dash what so ever for an Aux Heater as I have read about.
Can anyone help to clarify this for me. Does it actually have the heater.... but maybe not the controls for some reason. Or is this just an electric heater that augments the engine coolant heater by providing warm air before the coolant gets warm (like some of the latest model passenger cars and trucks have now).
I'm completely confused why it shows it has an Aux Heater, but I don't have controls for it, or any indication of it being there.
Thanks for any input you may have to help me understand this!
