Bought a used 2016 2500 extended 4x4. 75k miles. A few months after I bought it, I got a limp home with CEL and P200A code according to my generic code scanner. Cleared the code, came right back. Cleared it again to drive it to the dealer and "DUH" they can't fix it without the code. For the next month..nothing. Then it set again.

Mercedes roadside first said they would tow it to the dealer then they said they won't because it is a sprinter. Ended up getting it on a AAA flatbed (the driver earned himself a nice $60 tip for that one) and towed to the dealer. Just got a call today that the dealer is replacing both intake manifolds for free! wooo.

Anything else I should have checked while they are in there?

The dealer also says there's a way for a driver to manually trigger a regen. I will report back if that is true and you don't need to do any hackery.

Huh? Since when aren't Sprinters covered.

Not the case according to this:

https://www.mbvans.com/sprinter/mercedes-van-roadside-assistance

Our Roadside Assistance Program can help with the following:

Replacing a flat tire with a spare*.
Delivering a jumpstart in the event of a dead battery.
Providing 3-5 gallons of fuel if you run out.
Arranging a tow in the event of a mechanical issue or accident.

According to the first guy I called, it was covered for 4 years or 100k miles. The second guy said that's only for cars/SUVs. A sprinter is only covered until 36k. Didn't want to argue too much...I have AAA and they were there in under 15 minutes. Loading it onto the flatbed was a little hairy but it is safely under the knife at the dealer right now.
