Is the 220 amp Bosch Alternator Standard or Smart ? (2013 sprinter)

I called the dealership twice, first time i asked the parts guy and he didnt know then i called back and got a hold of a tech and he didnt know either. he theorized its a standard alternator.


im in the process of installing a Redarc 1240D DCDC charger and the instructions ask whether or not the alternator is Standard or Low Voltage Smart Alternator and then gives wiring instructions from there.
