I am in the middle of making new hard lines for the rear brakes (rust issues), and lost track of which port on the abs pump goes to driver rear vs. passenger rear. The photo below shows the top of the pump as viewed when looking down into the engine bay from the front of the vehicle.

The ports are labelled HR and HL, presumable for Left and Right? Does Right = Driver?

Thanks for any help, would hate to guess wrong and have the abs and traction control confused.

VL, VR, HL, HR... Vor Links, Vor Rechts, Hinter Links, Hinter Rechts. That means front left, front right, rear left, rear right.

Found on another forum, in case anyone runs into this problem someday

... and to answer markx's other question "right" and "left" are based upon when you're facing forward (as if you were sitting in the driver's seat).

A US/Canada Sprinter has the driver's seat on the Left.
