Block heater

If sprinter sits all winter with block heater plugged in should it be low on coolant.

Checked oil. Still black and no coolant.

No.

Was it low in the fall? An air pocket (perhaps in a heater loop?) can shrink in the cold and cause a drop, but I don’t know that the Sprinter has any high points that would require regular venting?

It was low. I topped it off. Then Sat all winter plugged in. Even freezing out i could feel warmth on motor.
