Finally...... the parts came in. Got a letter from Mother saying to bring Calypso down for the new airbag. Everything was peachy keen!
Had an appointment for 7:30. Got there about 20 minutes late due to heavy rains and 'smartly' taking the long way instead of trying the 'low water' crossing over the Guadalupe. Was met and called by name by the 'greeter.' All the paperwork was ready to go and they took her to the shop.
All tolled, it took about 2 hours but that included replacing a connector for the diagnostics under a second recall and re-flashing programming due to necessary updates.
The coffee mess is, as always first class, in the customer waiting area. Got to drool over the latest AMG creations and lust after the AMG roadster. Praying Santa will come through with the 173 large needed to buy it.......
Drive home was slow.... due to the rain. Steering wheel centered! Not a single issue. Ran like a top. Sweet!
