So I am looking at getting a sprinter to haul motorcycles and parts (mostly my own) and also to camp with, leaning towards a 158" T1N but wanted to get a few opinions on maintenance.
I have read a few posts about how a sprinter is 100% going to more maintenance than a regular car/truck and wanted to know if this is true and if so why its the case. I have pretty mechanically inclined, do pretty much all of my own service to my vehicles, even worked as a technician for while in a GM dealership years back, so I'd mainly plan on doing any work on my own on the van, but should I be expecting things to break more often?
I would most likely get rid of my truck (2013 Tacoma) to get the van and maybe get a cheap beater down the road. I work from home and ride most of the time living in socal, I guess I'm just looking for opinions on if I will regret making the switch.
