alternater

i have a 2005 2500 srinter and i need to get a alternator

does anyone have any subjestions about the best alternator i should get

If you read the various alternator replacement threads, the vote is "Bosch".

The alternator package includes a new over-running pulley, as well.

my freewheeling clutch seized(again after 220k miles) and the bearing made noises, so I just ordered a new 150A Bosch from Rockauto for around 215. I may replace the clutch to keep one as a spare.

Bosch 150-200 amp alternators on Amazon for under $200. At least when I replaced mine.
