If just the pulley/bearing is bad...
After installing a serpentine belt kit the other day on my 2006, including replacing tensioner and idlers with all bearings sounding sounding/feeling dry/noisy , I found the Litens tensioner itself seems fine, Seemed silly to me to throw out the tensioner, it's a pretty expensive part. if I could find a replacement pulley/bearing.
Did a little searching about and found one, DAYCO 89052. I ordered off ebay at $15.99 shipped, rock auto has it for under $12, plus shipping.
I know the Dayco tensioners are prone to breaking, but a pulley/ bearing is likely to be OK. And the pulley itself is steel, so not likely to chip or crack like reports on some other aftermarket idlers.
I'll report back when I get it and install on the tensioner.
