We broke a front brake rotor last week. That isn't real common, but there are several pictures on the site from others who have had this occur.
The rotors that were on the front came from Advance Auto so they were probably Chinese. We decided it might be better to get the OEM parts so we ordered them through the local Dodge dealer who has serviced the van in the past. It took 5 days to get the parts in and ..... they are the wrong rotors!!! #%$@&*
According to the dealer, the rotors they got for us were for a 15" wheel and we have 16" wheels. The only obvious difference is the rotor offset which was about 5/16" more than it should be. All the other dimensions seem to be the same. I suspect that the 15" front wheels use the ATE caliper and our 16" wheels use the Bosch caliper.
Sooo ..... now we have to wait another 5 days to see what shows up this time.
