Alarm install

Another NCV3 owner recommended the Compustar brand of alarm. Compustar also makes Nustart (same thing). I went to a dealer and purchased a Nustart 3500. CDN$450. It's a system that will page me if a break-in is attempted. Supposed to be 3-4 hours to install. I arrived at 11:15 for the install. They did not start untill about 1pm. I did not leave until 8pm. Guess what. The back door was not locking so it has to go back. The dealers said it was the hardest install they had ever attempted. I wish I had known that they had never done one before and I hope that no disaster results.
I never ask enough questions. I should have sent my wife.

Their is an interface module available to connect aftermarket stereos and alarms.
Find the Sprinter options Catalog in this forum.

Compustar is a great alarm. But you need to choose an install who has installed on in a few sprinters previous to yours and ask for proof.
Also see alarm installations in the forum.
