So, read all the threads to know I have a bad brake switch. Van is running fine (knock on wood) but the brake lights are on. Not sure if this can harm anything and I have zero codes. It's Sunday and nobody at the area auto stores carries a new switch. Am I ok to run it as long as it isn't stalking? If not, is there a roadside repair or patch to get me home? I'm 200 miles away.

Just a note... hooked up a uhaul car dolly and this started. I checked #5 fuse under seat and was fine. Am I missing anything?

Here is the link to follow if the brake switch is not broken, just maladjusted - a common problem easily fixed as long as you are only mildly a contortionist:

Have you tried unplugging the dolly's electrics to see if the problem goes away?

If the dolly's connection to ground (Sprinter frame) is bad, it would shunt tail light current through the path of least resistance: the stop light circuit.
