I desperately went to purchase a 2017 Ford Transit 350 12 passenger yesterday and was sadly disappointed. The most important part of the entire vehicle is poorly designed. The driver seat and compartment is cramped and crowded. My legs needed to be sucked in to sit in the vehicle.
I'm used to the "wide berth" of the Sprinter so expected the same in the Transit - not so.
Amazing that Ford can do so much right on the vehicle and screw up the most important aspect of the driving experience.
I hated it so bad I didn't even bother taking it for a ride. Got back in the Sprinter and had a whole new appreciation for the old girl.
Even my wife with her long legs said she was cramped with the seat all the way back.
They did have a 44 quigley on the lot that was tempting, it was exciting to see a quigley 4x4 Transit in person.
