greetings! 1st question.. L-track install to ceiling ribs..

Hello all.. Im new to the forum. Proud new owner of a 2016 144" standard roof passenger 4x4 as well. got rid of all the rows of seats and the first thing on my list is to install L-track for a ceiling mount surfboard rack.. I have everything to rivnut the system in place but I am wondering if I need to remove the headliner..? Are there wires that might be damaged if I drill into the ribs?

Quite a series of holes as is. So good chance of landing on edge of existing holes. Holes there are 2-3 sizes so might be best to remove at least one headliner section to get the pattern of existing.

Thanks for the reply! I grew impatient and just went for it.. I did hit the edge on two holes. The rivnut set fine anyway and there are plenty of others close enough to not worry.
