Brake line leak

Hey guys,

Have a 2007 dodge sprinter 2500 170" wb. Rear brake line just punctured through the rust and is leaking. Trying to get all the parts without multiple trips. Is it just 3/16" steel tube or is it some metric tube ?

What about the fitting thread ?

Double flare or bubble ?

Thanks in advance !!!

In answer to your questions: dunno, dunno, dunno:idunno:

BUT, I believe all those lines and fittings are part numbered items. IMHO, the cost of MOPAR OEM parts is a bargain in terms of your time spent and out of service time for your vehicle.

I fixed it. Used 3/16 brake line. Routed around gas tank. Could not budge lines above the fuel tank. Fittings are all metric thread. Some of the ends of the brake lines were flared and some bubble connections. Just matched each existing. Most fittings need a 7/16 wrench, some use a 1/2" wrench as well. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the responses.
