Has anyone had a problem with their front doors bouncing when closing and not closing properly?

Mine do this occasionally but then close just fine the next time I shut the door. It's as if the lock mechanism is tight or not quite right.

Normally when this happens you need to adjust the catch where it attaches to the body. There are two bolts you can use to adjust the alignment and closing depth.

Thanks I'll give that a go. The latches are the right height, I can see that as I close the door. I don't think the depth is wrong as when it closes correctly it looks and sounds right.

Is it possible for the latches themselves to need lube or something and hence cause this problem?

If the latches are sticky that could be it. Clean off all the old grit and grease and put fresh on.
