WD=Daimler Sprinter
2= Truck (versus wagon or cab/chassis) - Dodge
P = US 2-wheel drive
D7 = 2500C/C2500/P2500 4042 mm (159 inch) 16in. wheel 8,001 - 9,000 lbs. Class G
44 = 2.7L 5 cyl. Diesel 647 (MF2)
3 -- check digit
5 = model year 2005
5763910 = assembly serial number (no radio code associated with that VIN)

Sending the VIN to sailquik as a private message with a valid email address for yourself will probably get back the complete "data card" for that vehicle, listing all installed options (such as what the alternator current level is and what the rear end ratio is)

Whups... sailquik is currently laid up ... he won't be able to provide a datacard for a while
(so don't be surprised if he doesn't respond for a while)

All I truly apologize for not being able to respond.
I was on a Navy mission in "River City" (Restricted
Communication of all kinds) for the last couple of weeks
(Since July 4th) and when I returned home I ended up in a Cardiac
ICU with nothing but my iPhone.
Should be back up to normal capacity as soon as the docs figure out
How to fix me and I get my laptop and MIFI working!

Well, shoot, Roger. We here on the forum all wish you the speediest of recoveries. Life on the Outer Banks can only help as one the best of recovery rooms around. As one of sprinter sensei's, your contribution is always a plus. Thanks to all here.

Sending healing vibes and smiles across the miles my friend, knowing complete homeostasis is in order! :thumbup:

Gals/Guys,
Thanks for all your good thoughts on my behalf!
I'm now out of one hospital and trying to get set up for a heart valve
replacement in another hospital/heart center in the next week or 2.
So, I will be out of touch for a few days during/after the surgical procedure
but will have my laptop and MIFI so hopefully will be able to support datacard
requests from the heart center.
Thanks again for all your support,
Roger
