Power converter was not charging house battery. Saw the problem when plugged into shore power. Found that battery voltage was dropping down to 11v when under load. Normal voltage under load on shore power should be 13.0 - 13.6v. This indicated power converter (Progressive Dynamics, Inc. model PD9245C) not maintaining proper battery charge on shore power.

Troubleshooting began at power converter output behind control panel which is above refrigerator. Measurement of DC output voltage at power converter also indicated 11v. Next step was locating AC power input to power converter. Discovered no shore power applied to power converter. This led to investigation of transfer relays mounted on driver's side rear of van under trifold sofa/bed.

Visual inspection revealed no loose wires and all terminal screws were tested for tightness: no loose connections found. Investigation of two wire nuts revealed open connection inside wire nut. Removed wire nut, redressed wires and reapplied wire nut. Applied shore power and power converter is operational showing 13.6v output.

Summary: The real problem was not with the power converter but with the wiring.

Problem solved.
