Hello,
I have a 2015 144" Rear Wheel Drive 2500
I have a sturdy 20 ton bottle jack, and I am trying to raise one wheel at a time to swap out Winter Wheel/Tire for my other Summer Set
I need help on specific points that I can jack up vehicle from
I have read the manual carefully, and I am aware of the specific (4) Jack Points for users to access for flat tire service
However, My Van has an aftermarket Aux Heating/Cooling assembly which covers the driver rear jack point
I spent lots of time under the vehicle this morning, and tried to find sturdy members to use as jack points - Two of these sturdy elements actually BENT when I tried to elevate the van with the bottle jack !!
I understand not to use the rear differential or leaf springs
How about the Trailer Hitch assembly where it bolt to the frame?
The additional challenge is the HEIGHT of the jack point....The bottle jack only extends about 20", so I must use sturdy blocks!
I am totally lost! Please help!
