My cargo NCV3 has no rear windows and I want to draw air up to my new fantastic fan from the rear sleeping area.

I am looking for a set of 10" slider windows that I have seen in the outside van website under their options:

http://www.outsidevan.com/custom-narrow-window.php

Anyone know where I can find them to purchase?

Or has anyone tried these:

Although I am not sure I like the look.

Thanks, Steve.

those sliding windows look curiously similar to the side windows on say leer truck camper shells,or say in the boating industry(just throwing it out there, might stick)

Similar to the Mill Supply vents are these flip vents: http://www.sprinterworld.com/ventilation.htm

Outside van uses Cr lawerence windows. They are 10x33 on their vans- They will run about 400 each installed. I ordered mine and having them installed as soon as I get my van, along with a fantastic fan. Great minds think alike :)http://crlawrence.com/default.aspx

Do you know which CRL windows are the 10x33? I've been searching but can't seem to find anything.

Not in the catalog- custom order size- when you order you have to designate left/right and width-
If you go through a dealer they can call them and give you a quote- I wont give price here that i paid as respect to dealer i bought from but was not a bad price at all for two- just a little more expensive than a catalog size-

Amazing you even get to the right supplier

Their name is CRLaurence, so crlaurence.com

But you are not alone with spelling it how it sounds.

Motion Windows (www.rvwindows.com) in Vancouver, WA sells to both OSV and Van Specialties for their conversions. Refer to part # "Sprinter SS". Retail is $263/window. Dimensions are 35 3/4" x 9 3/4". A bit of a lead time (6 wks when I ordered mine about a month ago - still waiting for mine). Ask for Jeff if you have any questions - great to work with!

If anyone has experience installing these, I'd love to see some pics - thanks ; )

Since they are made from steel, I'm buying their entire stock and re-sell at a mark up.

The 10 inch narrow half slider windows OSV installs are CRL. They are a non-standard size but available to custom order. I just received 2 each 10" x 40". This is the proper size for the mid section of my '14 170. OSV also uses 10" x 33" for the smaller back section of a 170 or in 144s. I don't have a 144 to verify size so check the section width of your intended location to insure which one to order.

Sizes listed are cutout dimensions. The outside frame is + 1". The model number for 10" x 40" is CWMK1VSS. Description: Style S1/Half Slider; Width 40"; Height 10"; Wall Thickness 1/8"; Glass 1/8" 28% Gray; Corner Radius 1 3/4"; Removable Screen; 1 Each Right Hand; 1 Each Left Hand. Lead time for mine was 4 weeks.

The Motion Windows are intended for T1N vans only. In case that isn't obvious enough.

They can be installed in either model, and Motion Windows supplies to both OSV and Van Specialties.

Motion Windows are rectangles. Their small windows (which don't fill the entire side panels of either the T1N or NCV3 vans) will work in either model. But their full size windows are explicitly and only for T1N's.

How long did it end up taking to get your windows from Peninsula Glass? I emailed Jeff and got a pretty rude email back stating their 30 day lead time when I was just checking in to see how they were coming along and to see if by chance they would be shipping earlier. He was rude and now it's been 33 days. I was hesitant to email again to get an eta but realized that I already paid for the 2 windows and that maybe they can do some actual customer service and give me a more accurate update.

Question on installing these: How do you handle the brace in the middle of the window blank? Do you simply cut it and leave it in place or is it removed entirely?

Consider this actual operable window you can easily make your own screen for so you get both a window and vent for same price: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8u31vwbA9tk

Ecowhale,

Please will you stop spamming the forums with the same video in multiple threads!

Posting it once is fine but FIVE times in thirty minutes is a bit much!

Why don't you try to reduce the amount of repetitive posts on the window topics. You are being hypocritical if you post more than one time anything on the forum. I provide the tutorials for free to help others looking for ideas. If I only post on one thread, many miss out on the info they seek in different, but similar threads.
