Working on an o8.

I have everything back together after doing oil cooler and can't find the connector for the exhaust temp sensor. Ran the vehicle and getting 1437 code high voltage.

The temp sensor is third down stream of exhaust at end of catalytic converter. Two pin plug. I can't find the connector anywhere and don't have another to look at.

Any help please!!!

Thanks,
Jonathan

I found it- the plug in is mounted underneath near the alternator. I looked everywhere but there....

Good!
Next time!--A tip I got from working with ex pat Russian mechanics on tanks like T72's in Iraq!

They had a Russain Mil system of putting a zip on tag to each connector as it was removed, the other half kept on record as the job progressed.

At the end of the job there must be returned tags for each socket removed corresponding to the sockets disconnected!
No room for disconnectd lost sockets like your experience--"Oleg"!

Seriously I use that system even today when working a strange vehicle that we have not become familiar with.

If you are wondering what is a T72 here's museum piece and walk around!
I got to drive one thanks to the Iraqi Army when Saddam was the main man!
Happy Sprinter fixin'
