Probably not gonna see this ever again...

2004 T1N.
With T1Ns only getting older, 80,000 miles is getting harder and harder to find and I doubt I will ever have another T1N with this few miles. Although I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

Well I saw a 2005 unit the other day with 11150 on it!
Its first service no less!.

Now I confess I have yet to see one with 800,000 on it but I did have one 2003 in the shop a while ago with 600,000 on it running like a Swiss watch. A veritable Patek Philippe ! A bit battered and rusty but a strong runner!
With a service history documentation including regular cooling system services continuing, I bet this beast would go the distance and hit a 1,000,000 mile marker.

So far a good TIN is a marvel and so easy to fix.
I am only hoping to see the 4 banger 906 reach the same in reliability levels.

I turned over 100,000 last month, I've been driving it much less since getting married and moving 50 miles closer to Portland. Wouldn't mind seeing 1,000,000; of course that would mean I'd be around 215 yo! I doubt #2 diesel will be available in 2165.

I'm up to 352,000. A local fleet should be up to 750k this year.

It's amazing any machine can last this long. 750k, taking some averages, as near as I can assume, is around 2 billion revolutions on that engine. Which is 1 billion explosions harnessed. Wow.

Indeed harder to find. My 2005 140wb PWagon just passed the 80k mark after a 3000 mile trip back in August. I guess there are plenty of low mile T1Ns out there within the camper/conversion market but they are just not for sale as often any more.

My 2006, built in august 2006 as a passenger hauler, T1N has about 43K miles. I keep vehicles a long time. I still have a 1942 3/4 ton 4X4 miltary Dodge carryall that I bought in January of 1973.

2005 with 85.000 on the clock. I am probably due for a cooling system flush. I do spritz the radiator and condenser of from time to time with a low pressure water nozzle.
