EGR cooler leaking?

There are a few layers in there, the REST water circuit only runs thru the top section (where the hose attaches).

If you remove the safety Torx bolts, the EGR motor will come off the EGR valve assembly. there is a metal gasket in there. there is also a metal gasket between the valve housing and the EGR manifold. water sees both of these gaskets as it passes from the manifold to the valve, and then as it travels across the valve to the hose.

the valve to manifold gasket is available from dodge dealerships (mine had it in stock). The motor to valve gasket might not be, but it could probably be cleaned up and RTV'd together if need be.

Hi rafikiwilliams. What did you do to fix the problem? I have the same problem. I took the EGR out to clean and put it back in and it was leaking. Maybe it was leaking before, but I didn't notice it.

Were you able to fix it? Thanks, iShuttle
