Hi,

I would like to add cruise control to my 413. Is the factory one an easy add on?, if i can locate
a system from a wreckers. If that fails, any suggestions, being an electronic throttle control.

IIRC it is not plug and play.
A Star scanner is needed to activate it thru the ECU

Like Nelson says, although on 2004-2006 T1ns, the cruise control stalk does simply plug in and screws on to the MFS at the steering wheel. Getting it activated may require a dealer visit. I'm going to try that, as I prefer the factory item. My van came fitted with an aftermarket analog cruise control kit which works pretty well. I plan to carefully remove it and offer it up for sale soon to a pre-'04 T1n owner who wants cruise control.

You can install the factory cruise control on an '03 as long as it is equipped with ABS. If you don't have ABS, you will have to use an aftermarket system.
