Not a write-up, but an informative post.

Just finished changing to a sensorless fuel filter, 15 minute job.
Pre-filled the new filter with 60/40 diesel/injector cleaner,
Pinched the hose to the tank with a clamp,
Removed all connections and took old filter out,
Removed sensor from old filter and attached to wiring harness,
sealed all of it in a nitrile glove and zip tie,
installed new sensorless filter,
Connected fuel lines,
Removed hose pinch from tank hose,
Started it up; NO extended cranking, NO fits and stuttering, NO AIR LEAKS!:rad::rad::rad:
