Hello Folks
I just bought a 2001 T1N 313Cdi with a OM611 motor. In Austria.

Of course, the maintenance manual is in German. No good for me.

Anyone have a copy (pdf) of the 2001 sprinter user manual and Maintenance manual?

you know...I emailed MB here and I received the auto reply that they would respond in 3 days. Classic. 3 days was some months ago.

Chris.

Hi Chris,

There are a whole bunch of manuals posted on the website in this link... Link (http://sprinter-source.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26431)

Although I'm not sure how many may be of use to you for your 2001 OM611 it may still be worth looking.

Keith.

Thanks Keith
I saw this but...yea... everything but.

What i really need is maybe some simple info:
-oil change interval
-type/quantity of oil (im reading so much on the forum that makes me think oil choice is a complicated business!)
-oil filter part number
-air filter part number
-timing belt change interval

MB state 20,000kms for synthetic long drain oils
Look up bevo sheet 229.5 for list of approved oils
oil filter Mann HU718/1k
air filter Mann C32338
You need a 14 faced 76mm cap oil filter removal tool
The engine has an internal timing chain so no rubber belt used

Stroomphy,

There is a LOT of oil related info on this older thread, well worth reading!

Keith.

PS The OM611 hardly changed between 2002 and later models so a lot of what is in the 2003 manual should apply to your year as well. Always better than nothing!

Hi there,

In regard to service manuals etc, some info here if you fancy purchasing hard copy,

http://sprinter-source.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20566

Personally I would look at this publication often seen on Ebay. - lots of info and truthfully about as good as it gets for the money.

Apparently there is an eBook download!
