Long winter and my battery is kaput. Looking online for replacement and keep seeing notes that indicate there are 2 batteries? one under hood, other under front seat? I dont think my model has a battery under seat... am I missing something?

labudski,
The engine starting battery is under the hood on the left front inner fender.
The auxiliary battery (under the passenger seat in NAS T1N Sprinters) was an option for RV conversions and for cargo vans that needed more battery power as
service trucks/mobile shop vans.
If the Auxiliary battery was installed OEM at the factory when the Sprinter was built there should be some sort
of battery isolator in the system that isolates the engine starting battery from the Aux battery.
Some research on your VIN # would identify whether your aux battery was factory installed or aftermarket.
Send me a PM (Private Message tab is at the top RH side of this page ABOVE the top blue bar) with your
VIN Number and a valid return email address and I'll send you the MB OEM Build Data card for your Sprinter
traceable to the VIN #.
Hope this helps,
Roger
