Hello,
I have read that some things will make the t1n go into limp mode... Will all MIL "check engine" cause this to occur? Im trying to identify causes so that I can prepare for long trips.

Ive also read that while in limp mode you can only go 20mph while others indicate 55mph? does this depend on model or maybe code that was thrown?

So if you could list reasons why your t1n went into limpmode along with miles and resolution... That would be helpful to me!

Thanks,
Robert

A while back Vic attempted to answer the same question you just asked.
I used the Search button and searched "limp mode".
Here is his question and three pages of responses:

These threads may already have what you're asking for.

Most LHM events limit power or possibly RPM. It doesn't limit to a specific speed which I have found. The MIL aka CEL being on doesn't trigger LHM of itself. The MIL is generally a warning to the operator that something is malfunctioning. Often that problem is related to emissions control related problems.
