Crankcase Breather filter replacement FOUND

I'm sure it's common knowledge around here that you have to replace the whole breather assembly if want to replace the filter. After periodically searching (for the last few months) I found a company that offers a replacement filter only.

If I am reading this correctly, looks like you just remove the old filter from inside the assembly, and insert the new filter outside where the hose mounts.

I'll be ordering one momentarily and will report back.

How did this work out, and was it for inside the OM647 (04-06) CCV filter?

Broken link, curious what you paid and was it what looks like a giant bobbin of yarn? I was thinking of installing an oil catch with some steel wool pads but if ut ou have the original element so I dont have to buy the 400 dollar pos german plastic I would love you for it... was there a part number on your electronic receipt, thinking it's probably used in some non us car I will never see or Austrian tracor... lol

Pray, tells how this fits going in the center (next to the in/out hose / check valve) of the 3 ring circus oil recovery gizmo?
I pulled mine apart just to see if it might be restricted-not at all, w/ 170 K to boot.
Edit, it is not a filter at all, but an oil coalescing device, receiving clean air box air in one direction or CC fumes in the other.
